There now exists a vacancy in the office Cherry Valley Township Clerk. This vacancy is to be filled by appointment by the Cherry Valley Township board of trustees. To be eligible to fill the vacancy one must: live in Cherry Valley Township, Illinois, be a registered voter in Winnebago County, Illinois, and must be identified as Republican voter, as you would be filling an elected Republican official's office. Typically party affiliation is determined by your most recent primary voting record (Republican, Democrat, other.)
This vacancy will likely be discussed at the monthly May meeting, tonight, May 11, 2016 at 6:30 PM.
